Saturday, the House of Spain will hold their annual Lawn Program at the International Cottages. The SDSU Pow Wow will celebrate its 52nd year. At the Central Library, Zoe Ghahremani and Susie Ghahremani will discuss their latest children's book, Memory Garden. There will be an Art, Culture, and Indigenous Resistance Workshop at The FRONT Arte Cultura in San Ysidro. There will be a Pysanka Master Class led by Olenka Kleban at the Hall of Nations in Balboa Park. At the Museum of Making Music, Jesús Florido & Giovanni Piacentini will perform. Mexican stand-up comedian Sofía Niño de Rivera will perform at the Magnolia in El Cajon. Legendary percussionist Pete "Pops" Escovedo will be at the Music Box. There will be a Socrafro Carnival at Corazon Del Barrio on Logan Avenue. At Bread & Salt, filmmaker Isaac Artenstein will discuss his latest film project. At Verbatim Books, there will be a Poetry Reading and Book Talk featuring four different Latina writers.
Sunday, the House of Türkiye Lawn Program will take place at the International Cottages. There will be a Tijuana Music Fest at Rancho La Laguna. Bulls of Sant'Agata Charge Little Italy will be an event featuring Lamborghini cars. At the Buga Korean BBQ Restaurant, there will be a Korean Dinner Adventure where A.H. Kim will discuss her book, Relative Strangers. At the LOT Liberty Station, there will be a Havana Night with lots of Cuban music and cuisine. Abel Selaocoe and Manchester Collective will perform at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center in La Jolla. At the Balboa Park Club Ballroom, there will be a Mixers from Moldova dance event. The San Diego Early Music Society will present the German vocal quintet Amarcord at St James-by-the-Sea. At the Sound (Del Mar Racetrack), there will be a Super Cumbia concert featuring numerous Cumbia bands.
Monday, at Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, Michele Scanlon will sing famous Italian Songs. San Diego Poet Laureate Jason Magabo Perez will explore "the poetics of memory as an act of anticolonial future-making."
Tuesday, at National University, the SD World Affairs Council will host William Slomanson for a Journey Through the Middle East Visual Tour.
Wednesday, at USD, there will be a talk on the Roots of an Afro-Argentine. At UCSD, TM Krishna will talk about Dissent in Music. Faroese folk metal band Týr will perform at Brick by Brick. The North Coast Repertory Theatre will begin performances of their new play, Sense of Decency. The production runs through to May 12.
Next Thursday, at USD, author Le Ly Hayslip will discuss her book Child of War, Woman of Peace. Children of Men will screen at the Digital Gym. There will be an opening for the new Art in the Caribbean Diaspora exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla. At North University Community Library, Dr. Montebruno Saller will discuss Japanese American Citizens as Survivors of the Hiroshima Atomic Bombing. At UCSD, the Holocaust Living History Workshop will hold a talk by Sarah Abrevaya Stein. Comedian Gabriel Iglesias will perform at Pechanga Arena. 4-time Grammy Award winner Antonio Sánchez will perform at UCSD's Epstein Family Amphitheater.
Next Friday, at the JCC, Sarah Abrevaya Stein will give a talk on The Historical Landscape of World War Two Era North Africa. At the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, acclaimed composer-pianist Dayramir Gonzalez will perform. Filipino singer and actor Gigi De Lana will perform at the Sycuan Live and Up Close Theatre in El Cajon. There will be a San Diego Peace Corps Storytelling Showcase at Thorn St. Brewing. There will be a Truth Be Told Staged Reading at the City Heights/Weingart Branch Library. Indian classical musicians Seshadri & Subramanyam will perform at the Conrad Prebys Concert Hall. And, renowned Mexican singer Alicia Villarreal will perform at the Magnolia Performing Arts Center in El Cajon.

At USD's Shiley Theatre, there will be a Gospel Choir Festival. Comedian Stephane Tejada will perform at Mic Drop Comedy. The Turquoise will host a Feria de Abril (April Fair). Rising Mexican-American music star, Xavi will perform at Observatory North Park.
